UN warned of global hunger

Mankind will face widespread hunger if measures to ensure food security are not taken.  This was stated by Executive Director of the UN World Food Program (WFP), David Beasley.“If we do not prepare and take action now, then we may face a famine of biblical proportions in a few months,” he emphasized. According to Beasley, peace must be secured first.  Participants in hostilities must be given unhindered access to humanitarian assistance to people in need.  In addition, he added, it is necessary to invest $ 350 million in the creation of a network of logistics centers, thanks to which humanitarian aid will be provided throughout the world.  “Time is not on our side, so let's act wisely and quickly,” Beasley added. Apple and Google are building a coronavirus tracking system into iOS and Android

Potentially a huge step forward in the fight against COVID-19. Apple and Google announced a system for tracking the spread of the new coronavirus, allowing users to share data through Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) transmissions and approved apps from health organizations. The new system, which is laid out in a series of documents and white papers, would use short-range Bluetooth communications to establish a voluntary contact-tracing network, keeping extensive data on phones that have been in close proximity with each other. Official apps from public health authorities will get access to this data, and users who download them can report if they’ve been diagnosed with COVID-19. The system will also alert people who download them to whether they were in close contact with an infected person. The United Arab Emirates is heading in the right direction in terms of curbing the spread of coronavirus pandemic. China protests US plans to revoke license from China Telecom US affiliate

The Chinese authorities strongly protest the intention of the American side to revoke the license from the branch of the leading Chinese telecommunications corporation China Telecom in the United States, since such a discriminatory measure is contrary to generally accepted market standards.  This was announced on Friday by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China Zhao Lijian. “We have already paid attention to the relevant information and express our strong protest,” he said at a regular briefing. “We insist that the US side comply with the principles of a market economy and stop making mistakes, under the pretext of protecting its own national security, politicize economic issues. The Embassy of France in Greece has declared the illegality of the agreements GNA and Turkey
